- Winter 2009: Invited to give a lecture about my experience being a young artist in art school at Jordan-Elbridge Senior High School
- Fall 2009: Commissioned to design movie poster art for student- thesis documentary; Mumford’s Law.
- Fall 2009: Commissioned to design drop card art, t-shirt graphics and myspace buttons and banners for Central New York band; Greene Reveal.
- Summer 2009: Participated in the city wide search for Secret Wars art battles. Came in 4th place out of over 40 participating graffiti and street artist throughout 3 art battles on location.
- Summer 2009: Assisted freelance Photographer and Graphic Designer; Dan Mandell, worked on several photo shoots including clients: MTV, H&M, HBO
- Summer 2009: Worked as the Junior Designer at Indika Entertainment Advertising, worked closely with Creative Director James Verdesoto. Clients included: Dimension Films, The Weinstein Co., HBO, IFC Films, Broken Sky Films, Constellation Entertainment.

- Winter 2008: Commissioned to design t-shirt graphic and New Years Eve show flier for former Long Island rock band; Well, Hello.

- Fall 2008: Completed preliminary art for animated short film Three Pronged Thomas designed and painted backgrounds for several short animations, worked closely with Mike Healey and Kelly Dale Goller, owners of Kneeon and HipChop Films.

Hatched in the distant galaxy, Long Island, Steve used to bullseye womp rats in his T-16. Steve traveled to Central New York where he studied illustration. After receiving his Associates degree from MVCC, Steve departed to the island of Manhattan where he is now being trained under the high council of the School of Visual Arts. Awaiting battle Steve has sharpened his knowledge in the force and can finish the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, and grows stronger by the day. That's no moon. That's Steven Smith.
